FOSTER A PET
Fostering for BARK may be taking in a pet until space is available at the kennels or taking a pet in an emergency situation.
We need a safe place to house new pets immediately upon receiving a request for help. The pet may be moved within a few days from the home, but this support task is urgently needed.
Another short term foster opportunity is to allow a pet to stay with you after surgery. Some of our angels must have surgery or treatments that indicate the pet must have daily care or medications.
BARK wants to make sure these foster families are as happy as the pets they care for, so if for any reason the family can no longer care for a pet BARK will make required adjustments.
Fostering is a rewarding volunteer opportunity – you can take an abandoned pet into your home and heart and make all the difference in how he sees the world!
