Please understand that you completely give up the ownership and all rights to this animal when you surrender it to BARK. Once the animal is surrendered, BARK will decide if it can place the animal up for adoption or into foster care. All animals surrendered to BARK will be examined and determine health and placement of animal until suitable for adoption.

INFORMATION:

$125 Surrender Fee.

Owner Surrenders are added to our intake list and a committee will review your submission before accepting any dog.

Please note that owner surrenders will NOT be chosen above a stray or abandoned dog on our list. We will help re-home your dog by sharing information and pictures you have submitted.

If we find an adopter before the dog is accepted into our kennel, we will require a $50 facilitator fee.

We have other rescues we can reach out to if we cannot accept your dog. Please allow us up to 10 days to properly place and find a suitable solution for your dog.

DO NOT dump your dog. It is ILLEGAL!!! BARK has resources to help you with the dog during this process, such as food, vetting and other needs.

Kennel life is not a place for a dog who has been in the home and used to a certain home lifestyle. Please give yourself at least 30 days to re-home or find a foster to step up. We will use all media outlets such as Facebook to help adopt your dog. If you have any more questions, please call us at 254-675-1954.
